Guitar Hero Song List
Here's a Guitar Hero song list on iTunes of Guitar Hero 3 songs.
I had no idea the Guitar Hero 3 songs were going to include classic rock. My kids got Guitar Hero 3 for Christmas (the wii version). What an historical education for them! To hear them around the house singing and humming "Rock and Roll All Nite" or "School's Out [all summer]" brought a smile to my face (OK. Maybe those aren't the best values I want my kids to learn ;-)). To hear so many of these classic rock songs juxtaposed with the incredible gaming technology was wild.
Most of the songs, I've never heard of (just as my kids have never heard of the older music) but the songs had great beats and riffs. 70% of this version's 70 songs are master tracks and not covers. I bought the sound track.
And if you know how to play a real guitar (I wish I did, my kid is taking lessons), this software seems to be really neat. It slows down any music (without changing the key) so you can play along with the riff and learn it. Imagine popping in the Guitar Hero 3 songs and learning the riffs! Wouldn't that freak out the kids?

Guitar Hero is a game the whole family can enjoy. The time flies as I play with my kids. My nephews even come over specifically to play.
The wii version of the game was impossible to get for a while. They're easier to find now but still not plentiful. Here's a link, if you're interested.

I got the CD before I found it on iTunes (which wasn't easy). I downloaded all of them.
